Preparation
1. Combine Base Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and honey. Stir well until fully blended.

Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Mix until the spices are evenly distributed.
3. Incorporate Liquid Ingredients
Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
4. Optional Flavor Enhancements
If desired, add liquid smoke and hot sauce to taste. Mix well again.
Cooking
5. Simmer the Sauce
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
6. Cook and Thicken
Allow the sauce to simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency. Stir regularly.
7. Cool and Store
