Meat Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Rub the brisket with your favorite seasoning blend. Smoke for 12-14 hours at low temperature (225°F to 250°F) until tender.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Season the ribs with a dry rub and grill or bake at 300°F for 2-3 hours until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pulled Pork

If using pre-cooked pulled pork, simply reheat in a pan over medium heat until warmed through. If cooking from scratch, slow-cook pork shoulder for 8 hours until tender, then shred.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sausage

Grill the sausage links on medium heat for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Cook the Chicken

Season the chicken pieces and grill or bake at 375°F for 30-40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Sides Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Coleslaw

In a large bowl, mix shredded cabbage and carrots. Toss with mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and salt to taste. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

  2. 7

    Heat Baked Beans

Pour canned baked beans into a pot and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 8

    Bake Cornbread

Follow the recipe on the cornbread mix package, or bake from scratch in a preheated oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

  4. 9

    Prepare Macaroni and Cheese

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and gradually stir in milk. Add cheese until melted, then mix with the macaroni.

  5. 10

    Make Potato Salad

Boil potatoes until tender, then cool and chop. Mix with mayonnaise, mustard, chopped celery, onion, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
