Method

Preparation of Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the bones from the spare ribs carefully using a sharp knife, creating a boneless rib patty.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Rub the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Make the Sauce

  1. 3

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Seasoning

Stir in any remaining salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to enhance the flavor.

Cooking the Ribs

  1. 5

    Preheat Grill or Oven

Preheat your grill to medium heat or your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 6

    Cook the Ribs

Place the boneless ribs on the grill or in a baking dish in the oven. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. 7

    Baste with Sauce

During the last 5 minutes of cooking, baste the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce mixture.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 8

    Prepare Buns

Slice the sandwich buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in the oven.

  2. 9

    Add Ribs and Toppings

Place the cooked boneless rib patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sliced onions and pickles.

  3. 10

    Finish the Sandwich

Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
