Preparation of Fries

Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare Fries
Spread the frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Drizzle olive oil over the fries and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Cook Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Add Milk
Gradually whisk in milk and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly until it thickens.

Add Cheese
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and garlic powder until the cheese is melted and smooth.

Combine Pasta and Cheese
Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well combined.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook hot links until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes.

Chop the cooked hot links and prepare your choice of brisket, pork, or smoked chicken.

Layer Fries
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and layer them on a serving platter.

Spoon the mac and cheese over the fries, followed by the chopped hot links and selected meat.

Drizzle BBQ sauce over the top and add a dollop of sour cream.
