Method

Meats Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken Thighs

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  2. 2

    Cook Beef Brisket

Rub the beef brisket with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Sear in a hot skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side. Transfer to a slow cooker, add ½ cup of BBQ sauce, and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Prepare Pork Ribs

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Rub the pork ribs with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. Grill the ribs for about 3-4 hours, basting with BBQ sauce every 30 minutes, until they are tender and have a nice char.

Sides Preparation

  1. 4

    Make Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop 4 cups of potatoes. Boil in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, ½ cup of milk, and salt to taste. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  2. 5

    Steam Broccoli

While the potatoes are boiling, bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket on top. Add 4 cups of broccoli florets and steam for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender but still crunchy. Season with salt and pepper.
