Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cool, carefully peel the eggs under running water.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  4. 4

    Add Flavor

Stir in the chopped chives and crisp bacon bits to the yolk mixture.

  5. 5

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the tops with additional smoked paprika and garnish with extra chives if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
