Loaded Baked Potato

Method

Preparing Loaded Baked Potato

  1. 1

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork. Bake directly on the oven rack for about 45-60 minutes, until tender.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Toppings

While the potatoes are baking, prepare the toppings. In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, sour cream, chopped chives, and butter.

  3. 3

    Load the Potatoes

Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven. Cut a slit on the top of each potato and gently squeeze the ends to open them. Fluff the insides with a fork, then add the cheese mixture, allowing it to melt slightly.
