Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add olive oil. Sauté the sliced mushrooms and onions until they are soft and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger Patty

Season the Angus beef patty with salt and pepper. In the skillet, cook the patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Add the Swiss and cheddar cheese slices on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the Kaiser roll, place the lettuce and tomato slice. Add the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, followed by the sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, and crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the Kaiser roll.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burger immediately with your choice of sides.
