Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter. Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere.

Fit Turkey Wrap

American IPA. Named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit.

Heat 5 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C) and add the Pale Malt and Caramel Malt. Maintain the temperature around 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes.

Mash the Grains

After the mash, sparge (rinse) the grains with hot water to collect the wort. Collect approximately 6.5 gallons.

Bring the wort to a boil and add the Centennial hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding Amarillo hops with 15 minutes left and Simcoe hops with 5 minutes left.

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or ice bath until it reaches approximately 70°F (21°C).

Cool the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast. Seal and allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks at a stable temperature around 68°F (20°C).

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in a small amount of water and add to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap. Allow to carbonate for 1-2 weeks.
