Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Fry the Chicken

In a deep skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Melt

On a slice of toasted sourdough, place a fried chicken breast, two slices of Swiss cheese, and two slices of bacon. Top with another slice of sourdough.

  6. 6

    Melt the Cheese

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Grill the sandwich on both sides until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Serve hot.
