Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Form the Patty
In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

Cook the Patty
In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches the desired doneness.

Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place the slice of American cheese on top of the patty to melt.

Assemble the Burger
Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the brioche bun, then top with crispy bacon. Serve immediately.
