Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tofu
Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- 2
Chop the Vegetables
Slice the bell pepper and carrot into thin strips. Cut the broccoli into small florets. Chop the green onions, keeping the white and green parts separate.
- 3
Make the Teriyaki Sauce
In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, grated ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch until smooth.
- 4
Cook the Tofu
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- 5
Stir-fry the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the white parts of the green onions, bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Return the cooked tofu to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the mixture and toss to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and the green parts of the green onions before serving.
