Season the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.
