Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by taking the ribeye steak and salmon fillet out of the refrigerator to bring them to room temperature. This will help them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak and Salmon

Rub the olive oil on both sides of the steak and salmon. Season them generously with salt and black pepper. Mince the garlic and sprinkle it over both proteins.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steak to the skillet.

  4. 4

    Cook the Ribeye Steak

Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on one side for medium-rare, then flip it and add the sprig of rosemary to the pan. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the oil and juices.

  5. 5

    Cook the Salmon

Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the pan and let it rest. In the same skillet, add the salmon fillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon as it cooks.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, remove it from the skillet. Serve the steak and salmon together on a plate, garnished with extra lemon wedges and rosemary if desired.
