Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until sugar is dissolved.
- 2
Marinate the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 3
Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet or wok, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Remove the shrimp from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and add them to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
- 4
Add the Marinade
Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 5
Serve
Garnish the shrimp with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
