Hibachi Tuna Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Marinate the Tuna
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Whisk together until well mixed. Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator.
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your hibachi grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- 3
Grill the Tuna
Remove the tuna from the marinade and place it on the hot grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired. Avoid overcooking the tuna as it can become dry.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked to your liking, remove the tuna from the grill. Slice it into thin pieces and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
