Hibachi Sirloin Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Marinade

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper. This will be the marinade for the sirloin.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the sirloin steak in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Heat the Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil to the pan or brush it on the grill grates.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest and Slice

Once cooked, remove the sirloin from the grill or skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then slice it against the grain into thin strips.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Plate the sliced sirloin, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm with additional soy sauce if desired.
