Hibachi Filet Mignon Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and black pepper. This will serve as the marinade for the filet mignon.
- 2
Marinate the Steaks
Place the filet mignon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your hibachi grill or a stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
- 4
Grill the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- 5
Add Butter and Serve
During the last minute of cooking, add a tablespoon of butter on top of each steak. Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
