Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Remove the filet mignon from the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steaks

Rub each piece of filet mignon with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Allow the steaks to rest for another 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled.

  4. 4

    Grill the Filet Mignon

Place the filet mignon on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip the steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Add the Yakiniku Sauce

During the last minute of grilling, brush the filet mignon with the yakiniku sauce for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes. Serve with additional yakiniku sauce on the side and garnish with fresh herbs.
