Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Black Bean Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine black beans, minced garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through, mashing slightly to create a sauce consistency. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Steam the seasonal vegetables until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drizzle with olive oil and a little lemon juice before serving.

  3. 3

    Steam the Sea Bass

Season the Chilean sea bass fillets with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Place in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for about 10-12 minutes until cooked through and flaky.

  4. 4

    Serve

On each plate, place a portion of steamed sea bass, a serving of seasonal vegetables, and drizzle the black bean sauce over the fish. Finish with an additional drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
