Mashed Potatoes

  1. 1

    Prep the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized chunks.

  2. 2

    Boil the Potatoes

Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

  3. 3

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Serve

Transfer to a serving dish and keep warm until ready to serve.

Potato Salad

  1. 5

    Prep the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes whole in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool.

  2. 6

    Chop Ingredients

Once cool, chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Dice the celery and red onion.

  3. 7

    Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika.

  4. 8

    Combine Salad

Add the potatoes, celery, and onion to the dressing and mix gently until fully coated.

  5. 9

    Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Baked Beans

  1. 10

    Mix Ingredients

In a large pot, combine canned baked beans, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and diced onion.

  2. 11

    Cook the Beans

Heat over medium heat until bubbling, stirring occasionally, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. 12

    Serve

Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.

Vegetables

  1. 13

    Prep the Vegetables

Rinse and chop the mixed vegetables into smaller pieces if needed.

  2. 14

    Sauté

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. 15

    Cook

Sauté for about 8-10 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.

  4. 16

    Serve

Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy hot.

Slaw

  1. 17

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and shredded carrots.

  2. 18

    Make Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.

  3. 19

    Mix Salad

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, mixing well to coat.

  4. 20

    Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
