Hamburger
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently without overworking the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions (about 1/3 lb each) and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Assemble the Burger
Toast the hamburger buns lightly, then place the cooked patties on the bottom bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and the top bun.
French Fries
- 5
Prepare the Fries
Preheat the oven or fryer according to package instructions for the frozen French fries.
- 6
Cook the Fries
Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet or place them in the fryer basket. Drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake or fry until golden and crispy, following package instructions.
Slaw
- 7
Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrot.
- 8
Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt until smooth.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture. Toss well to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
