Method

Preparation of Chicken Drumsticks

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the chicken drumsticks and toss to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  3. 3

    Bake the Drumsticks

Place the marinated drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.

Preparation of French Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Remove the potatoes from the water, pat them dry with a towel, and carefully add them to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.

Preparation of Coleslaw

  1. 7

    Shred the Vegetables

Finely shred the green cabbage and grate the carrots. Place them in a large bowl.

  2. 8

    Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 9

    Combine and Toss

Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage and carrots. Toss well to combine and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
