Beef Parmesan

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Beef Parmesan

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Season the beef steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Beef

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned beef steaks and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned.

  3. 3

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Pour marinara sauce over the seared beef steaks. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese on top.

  4. 4

    Bake

Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Place the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Slaw

  1. 7

    Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt.

  2. 8

    Combine with Vegetables

Add shredded cabbage and carrots to the dressing. Toss well to coat and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Vegetable

  1. 9

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add mixed vegetables, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
