Creamy Alfredo Sauce

Seasonal Vegetables

Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Vegetables Preparation

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and zucchini. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked pasta and sautéed vegetables into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well coated. Heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
