Method

Prepare the Ingredients

    Chop the Vegetables

    Finely chop the red bell pepper and onion and set aside.

Make the Egg Mixture

    Whisk the Eggs

    In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Cook the Omelette

    Heat the Skillet

    In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

    Add the Egg Mixture

    Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the edges start to set.

    Add the Filling

    Sprinkle the chopped red bell pepper, onion, and cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.

    Fold and Finish Cooking

    Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half over the filling and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

Serve

    Slide the omelette onto a plate and garnish with additional black pepper or herbs if desired. Serve hot.
