Method

Prepare the Tea Base

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea Bags

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

Carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Flavoring the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Lemon Juice

Stir in 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1 cup of granulated sugar into the cooled tea. Mix well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon Slices

Add 1 cup of lemon slices to the tea mixture for added flavor and visual appeal.

Serve the Tea

  1. 6

    Chill the Tea

Refrigerate the tea for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the iced tea in glasses filled with ice, and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!
