Prepare the Tea Base

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steep Tea Bags
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
Carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Flavoring the Tea

Add Lemon Juice
Stir in 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1 cup of granulated sugar into the cooled tea. Mix well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Add Lemon Slices
Add 1 cup of lemon slices to the tea mixture for added flavor and visual appeal.
Serve the Tea

Chill the Tea
Refrigerate the tea for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.

Garnish and Serve
Serve the iced tea in glasses filled with ice, and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!
