Prepare the Espresso

Brew the Espresso
Start by brewing a shot of fresh espresso. Allow it to cool slightly before using it in the cocktail.
Mix the Cocktail

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add the freshly brewed espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup.

Add Ice
Fill the shaker with ice cubes, making sure it is about 2/3 full.

Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
Serve the Cocktail

Strain and Pour
Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass, ensuring a smooth pour without any ice shards.

Garnish the cocktail with three coffee beans placed on top. Optionally, sprinkle some chocolate shavings for added flavor.
