Prepare the Hash Browns
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the frozen hash browns to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Spread them out in an even layer and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally.

Top the Hash Browns
Once the hash browns are crispy, reduce the heat to low. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the hash browns, followed by the shredded cheese and sliced jalapeños. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.

Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle with sliced green onions. Serve hot with sour cream on the side for drizzling or dipping, as desired.
