Method

Tea Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Tea

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar while the tea is still warm. Let the tea cool to room temperature.

Lemonade Preparation

  1. 3

    Juice the Lemons

Squeeze the juice from 4 fresh lemons until you have about 1 cup of lemon juice. Remove any seeds.

  2. 4

    Make Lemonade

In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, 2 cups of water, and 1 cup of sugar. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine the Beverages

In a large pitcher or serving jug, combine the cooled tea and lemonade in equal parts (2 cups of each). Stir gently to mix.

  2. 6

    Serve with Ice

Fill glasses with 2 cups of ice cubes and pour the Arnold Palmer mixture over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
