Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.
- 2
Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
- 3
Add Spices
After steeping, add 2 cinnamon sticks, 5 cloves, 5 cardamom pods, and a 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (sliced) to the tea. Allow the mixture to steep for an additional 10 minutes.
- 4
Sweeten the Tea
Stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar while the tea is still warm, ensuring that it dissolves completely.
