Preparing the Tea

Boil the Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the tea leaves of your choice (2 tablespoons of black tea, green tea, or herbal blend). Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into cups or a teapot to remove the tea leaves.
Flavoring the Tea

Add Sweetener and Flavor
If desired, add honey and lemon juice to taste, stirring well to combine. You can also add fresh mint leaves for a refreshing flavor.
Serving the Tea

Serve Hot
Serve the hot tea immediately in cups, garnished with extra mint leaves or lemon wedges if desired.
