Method

Preparation of Chips

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) to prepare for baking the nachos.

  2. 2

    Spread the Tortilla Chips

On a large baking sheet, evenly spread out the tortilla chips in a single layer.

Assembly of Nachos

  1. 3

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the tortilla chips, ensuring even coverage.

  2. 4

    Add Jalapeños

Distribute the sliced jalapeños over the cheese-covered chips for added spice and flavor.

  3. 5

    Bake the Nachos

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving the Nachos

  1. 6

    Remove from Oven

Carefully remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.

  2. 7

    Add Salsa and Garnish

Drizzle or spoon salsa over the nachos. Add dollops of sour cream and sprinkle chopped cilantro on top for garnish.

  3. 8
