Burger Patty

Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.

Cook the Burger Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, until browned. Flip the patties and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

  2. 6

    Toast the Buns (optional)

If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  3. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, spread ketchup and mustard. Place a lettuce leaf on each, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, and top with a slice of tomato. Place the top half of the bun on top to finish.
