Prepare 1 oz of fresh espresso using an espresso machine or a stovetop Moka pot. Ensure the espresso is hot and freshly brewed for the best flavor.

Measure the Ingredients
Using a jigger, measure out 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of coffee liqueur, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Have these ready for shaking.

In a cocktail shaker, add the measured vodka, coffee liqueur, fresh espresso, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This will chill the mixture and create a frothy texture.

Strain and Serve
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass to remove any ice shards and ensure a smooth pour.
