Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Prepare 1 oz of fresh espresso using an espresso machine or a stovetop Moka pot. Ensure the espresso is hot and freshly brewed for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Measure the Ingredients

Using a jigger, measure out 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of coffee liqueur, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Have these ready for shaking.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the measured vodka, coffee liqueur, fresh espresso, and simple syrup.

  2. 4

    Shake Well

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This will chill the mixture and create a frothy texture.

Serving

  1. 5

    Strain and Serve

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass to remove any ice shards and ensure a smooth pour.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Garnish the drink with 3 coffee beans placed on top for decoration and a hint of aroma.
