Prepare the Patty

Mix the Meats
In a large bowl, combine ground beef chuck and ground brisket. Mix well until fully combined.

Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder into the meat mixture. Mix gently until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

In the same skillet, increase heat to medium-high. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.

On the bottom half of each bun, place the cooked patty with melted cheese. Top with crispy bacon, sliced tomato, onion, and pickles.
