Directions

  1. 1

    Brew the Tea

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.

  3. 3

    Sweeten the Tea

Stir in 3 tablespoons of sugar while the tea is still warm, allowing the sugar to dissolve completely.

  4. 4

    Chill the Tea

Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

  5. 5

    Serve

To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and then add 1 cup of evaporated milk on top.

  6. 6

    Garnish (Optional)

Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar if desired.
