Instructions

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

2

Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until well combined.

3

Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.

4

Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil (for frying) over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Donuts

Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

6

Dust with Cinnamon Sugar

In a separate bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and cinnamon. While the donuts are still warm, toss them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.

7

Serve

Place the dusted donuts in a paper bag for serving, and enjoy them warm.
