1. Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and olive oil while mixing to form a soft dough. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

2. Divide and Roll

After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it with a rolling pin into a thin circle.

3. Add Cheese

Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over half of each roti. Fold the other half over to cover the cheese, creating a half-moon shape.

4. Cook the Roti

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the folded roti on the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Brush with melted butter while cooking.

5. Serve

Cut the cheesy roti into wedges and serve hot with your choice of sides such as avocado, salsa, or yogurt.
