Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

Thinly slice the steak against the grain and season with salt and pepper.

2

Cook the Steak

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

4

Add Kimchi and Rice

Stir in the kimchi and cook for another 2 minutes. Then add the cooked rice, breaking up any clumps, and mix well.

5

Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked steak back into the skillet along with the soy sauce and gochujang. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.

6

Cook the Eggs

In a separate pan, scramble the eggs until just cooked. You can either mix them into the rice or serve them on top.

7

Garnish and Serve

Serve the fried rice hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
