    Prepare the Dough

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.

    Mix Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until well combined.

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Heat Oil

    In a deep pot, heat the oil for frying to 375°F (190°C).

    Shape the Donuts

    Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil, frying a few at a time.

    Fry the Donuts

    Fry the donuts for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

    Remove the donuts from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
