Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Duck

Season the duck breast with five-spice powder, salt, and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the duck breast skin-side down until golden brown. Flip and cook until the duck is cooked through but still juicy. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Cook the Noodles

In a pot of boiling water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pan used for the duck, add minced garlic, sliced onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Make the Curry Sauce

Add curry powder and soy sauce to the sautéed vegetables. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked noodles and sliced duck to the pan with the curry sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
