Prepare the Asparagus
Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and rinse them under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Sauté the Aromatics
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated turmeric, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook the Asparagus
Add the asparagus to the skillet, and season with salt. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.

Add Sauces
Pour in the fish sauce and oyster sauce, tossing everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Optional Shrimp Addition
If using, add fresh shrimp to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
