Dough Preparation and Baking

1

Prepare the Dough

In a small saucepan, heat the milk until warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and add the butter until melted. Let it cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine warm milk mixture, sugar, yeast, and eggs. Stir until combined. Gradually add flour, salt, and cinnamon until a dough forms.

2

Knead and Rise

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

3

Shape the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.

4

Bake the Rolls

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
