Pizza Dough

Method

Making the Dough

  1. 1

    Prepare the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let it Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Meatzza

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Roll out the Dough

Once risen, punch the dough down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 7

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  4. 8

    Add Toppings

Layer the cooked meatballs, Italian sausage, prosciutto, ground beef, and pepperoni over the cheese.

  5. 9

    Bake the Meatzza

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

  6. 10

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
