Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the cinnamon sugar cookie dough and press it evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and let cool.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Gently fold in the diced green apples.

  3. 3

    Combine and Bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it gently into the batter. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.

  4. 4

    Cool and Chill

Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool inside for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  5. 5

    Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the cheesecake and serve each slice with a dollop of whipped cream and an additional drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.
