Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sirloin

Season the top sirloin with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sirloin and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet, let rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the pureed roasted red peppers and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked linguine, sliced sirloin, and shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the Surf & Turf Fra Diavolo and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
