Prepare the Pancake Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. If desired, gently fold in chocolate chips or blueberries.
Cook the Pancakes

Preheat the Griddle
Heat a non-stick griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

Pour the Batter
Use a ladle to pour the batter onto the hot griddle, forming pancakes of your desired size.

Cook Until Bubbles Form
Cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.

Flip and Cook Other Side
Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat and keep warm.

In a separate skillet, cook your choice of bacon, sausage, or other protein until crispy and fully cooked. Drain on paper towels.

Stack the pancakes on a plate, top with whipped butter and drizzle with pancake syrup. Serve with your choice of cooked protein on the side.
