Burger Components

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the lettuce leaves and slice the tomato and red onion into thin rings. Set aside.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Once cooked, remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  2. 3

Form and Cook the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, form the ground beef into a patty shape. Season with salt and pepper. In the same frying pan, cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 4

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the beef patty, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top and cover the pan with a lid to help it melt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the brioche buns in the same frying pan until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce. Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheese on top. Add the crispy bacon, onion rings, lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion rings. Top with the other half of the brioche bun.
