In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well combined. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. If using, fold in chocolate chips or blueberries.
